A selection of Mathematical Halloween-themed Mathematics resources:
For many Halloween problems, try the windows on Transum Mathematics Halloween.

From Chris Smith, try his great Halloween relay and note the whole set. I have used many of these very successfully – have fun whilst doing plenty of Maths!
From Nrich, thinking about systematic listing strategies with younger students, check this Halloween Investigation, just how many possible Halloween costumes are there?
Or a good starter for Halloween perhaps, try Halloween Day on Nrich, a problem taken from the UKMT Maths Challenges.
On TES Resources, we have the following free activities, all with answers included:
- Halloween Maths Decimals, dh2119. 13 questions on a Halloween theme, tailored to test
decimals, large numbers (millions and billions), and problem-solving. - Halloween Maths – negative numbers maze, Miss E Honey. Practise adding and subtracting up to 3 negative numbers.
- Halloween Maths nth term revision, Tom TeachesMaths. A colour-by-number pixel art worksheet covering nth term with questions involving linear, quadratic and some ratio sequences
- Algebra Halloween Murder Mystery, Fiona Jones. Tasks include simplifying, substitution, equivalent terms, and solving equations.
- Halloween Fun Maths Mystery from Soaring Stars Education. The resource covers algebra, substitution, collecting like terms, expanding brackets, factorisation & a couple of codebreaking puzzles.
- Functional Maths – Zombie Outbreak, Somnophorev2. Given a map, a list of the number of survivors at each location, and a set of instructions, pupils work to rescue as many people as they can.

And to finish, a ghost from WolfamAlpha! Checking popular curve examples on WolframAlhpa, a discovery, I had not realised that it was possible to, for example, create a randomly colored ghost curve! Refresh the page for different color ghosts!
